Vikram Group, with its deep roots in engineering and technology and having its base in Kolkata has come a long way, since its inception in 1970. In continuation of its activity in Tea Manufacturing which started in the year 2000, by setting up a Bought Leaf Tea Factory at Islampur, Siliguri, West Bengal, M/s Associated Tea Industries was formed as a partnership with Sri Sajjan Bhajanka, CMD of Century Plywood, to set up one more bought leaf tea factory at Tinsukia, Assam in the year 2003. At this Plant, finished black tea is manufactured from plucked leaves, bought from individual and small scale growers and using best quality tea processing machineries, manufactured at our own facility.

Today our unit at Tinsukia, covers an area of around 11000 sq.mtr which caters to a production capacity of approximately 2.0 million kgs per year and is in the process of ISO 9001: 2000 certification. The tea leaves undergo various processes like withering, crushing, fermenting and drying before they are sorted and packed.
